Arunachal’s Yajik Hillang Wins Gold, Tripura’s Rita Nag Bags Bronze For India In 15th South Asian Bodyduilding And Spots Championships 2025 In Thimphu, Bhutan

The event witnessed the participation of top athletes from several South Asian countries competing in various physique and bodybuilding categories.
In a proud moment for India, two women from the Northeast secured Gold and Bronze at the 15th South Asian Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championships 2025 at Thimphu in Bhutan.
Arunachal’s Yajik Hillang won Gold while Rita Nag from Tripura secured bronze.
Yajik secured 1st position in the Women’s Model Physique up to 155 cm event.
Rita Nag, popularly known as Shreya, from Tripura clinched the Bronze Medal in the same event.
Yajik has became the first female Physique Sports athlete from the state to win a Gold medal at an international event.
The prestigious international championship, organized under the recognition of the World Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Federation, started on June 11.
The event witnessed the participation of top athletes from several South Asian countries competing in various physique and bodybuilding categories.
President of the Tripura Body Builders and Fitness Association and Rita Nag’s Coach claimed she is the first female bodybuilder from Tripura to bring laurels for the state in such international competition claimed.
