Arunachal: Retd bureaucrat Jalash Pertin appointed member of APPSC

Retired bureaucrat Jalash Pertin will be sworn-in as the new member of the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) today.

The swearing-in of Jalash Pertin will take place at the Raj Bhawan (Governor’s House).

His appointment has come after the State cabinet has recommended appointing a new member to the Commission to enhance transparency and efficiency in the Commission.

The cabinet has also amended the syllabus of the APPSC Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) and has included topics which are more relevant to the state.

The State government in December last year appointed 4 members of the Commission, including its Chairman, Prof Pradip Lingfa, and members Prof Ashan Riddi, Col (Retd) Koj Tari and Rosy Taba.
