Arunachal MLA Ninong Ering Strongly Condemns Terror Attack In Pahalgam, Jammu And Kashmir

The deceased from the state, 30- year-old Tage Halying from Tajang village in Ziro, is one of the 28 people who lost their lives in the terror strike.

Condemning the terrorist attack on tourists, including one from Arunachal Pradesh, in Kashmir, Arunachal MLA Ninong Ering on Wednesday ensure to take all steps that the body of the deceased man reaches his residence in Lower Subansiri district.

The deceased from the state, 30- year-old Tage Halying from Tajang village in Ziro, is one of the 28 people who lost their lives in the terror strike.

As per inputs, the terror attacked happened when Tage was on vacation with his wife, who survived the incident.

While speaking to Northeast Live, Arunachal MLA Enong Ering said, “Very unfortunate that such incident happened at a time when the Union Territory is getting a lot of tourists from Arunachal Pradesh due to the tulip gardens in Srinagar. It was quite surprising that this attack occurred, especially while we were trying to establish and promote positive relations of all kinds with Pakistan.”

“Even we can see the response of our people where everyone is hurt, everyone is condemning this incident and my deepest condolences to the families who lost their dear ones”, Ering added.

“I spoke to the relatives of the deceased and we whole the Arunachal people are with the family of the victim”, he said.

Ering also demanded decisive action against Pakistan terrorist.

He further added that state government will send a representative, and there is already an MLA from the relevant area, so we hope that we can at least pacify the family members over there. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Pema Khandu and Deputy Chief Minister Chownamein will surely provide compensation
Arunachal Chief Minister Pema Khandu expressed his condolences following the tragedy.

“Deeply saddened by the tragic loss of Corporal Tage Hailyang of the Indian Air Force, a brave son of Arunachal Pradesh. While visiting Pahalgam with his wife, his life was cruelly taken in a senseless act of terror,” Khandu said.

“He served the nation with courage and honour, and his untimely death is a great loss not only to his family but to the entire country. Our thoughts are with his loved ones, especially his wife who survived this horrific incident. May they find strength and solace in this unimaginable time of grief,” the Chief Minister added.

The state has plunged into mourning following the news of the corporal’s death.
