Arunachal: Mass rally in Hollongi in support of BJP’s Doimukh candidate Tana Hali

With just a few days left for the simulateneous assembly and Lok Sabha elections in the frontier state of Arunachal Pradesh, electioneering have picked up in the state. A mass rally was organized today in support of BJP candidate Tana Hali Tara who is contesting from the 14 Doimukh assembly Constituency.

Tana Hali Tara is the sitting MLA from the constituency. He won the seat in 2019 assembly elections with a total of 8403 votes defeating Nabam Vivek of the National People’s Party with a margin of 2385 votes.
Tana Hali is pitted against Nabam Vivek from PPA and Nabam Tado from INC for the forthcoming Assembly elections in Arunachal Pradesh.

The rally, which was held at Hollongi today, was attended and addressed by several senior party leaders including Chief Minister Pema Khandu and Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein among others.
Polling for the 50 assembly seats and 2 Lok Sabha seats in Arunachal Pradesh will be held on April 19 and results will for the Assembly polls will be declared on June 2 and for the LS polls on June 4.
The ruling BJP has won 10 seats unopposed to the 60-member Arunachal Assembly.
