Arunachal: IRBN jawan shot dead by colleague

Arunachal: As per the FIR, IRBN personal identified as Wangru Taidong fired two rounds at his colleague Chingri Momai.

Arunachal: In a sensational incident an IRBN personal was allegedly shot dead by his colleague following a heated argument at Rajiv Gandhi University in Papum Pare district of Arunachal Pradesh.

As per the FIR copy accessed by Northeast Live, it is learnt that an IRBN personal identified as Wangru Taidong fired two rounds at his colleague Chingri Momai with his service rifle.

Momai, who was rushed to the hospital in Naharlagun, was declared brought dead by doctors.

Meanwhile, the accused IRBn personnel is in the custody of Doimukh police station, and a case under section 302 of the IPC has been registered against him.

It is learnt that the mortal remains of Chingri Momai has been kept at the RKM Hospital in Itanagar for post mortem.
