Arunachal in 2023: CM Pema Khandu lays out vision document

Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Monday shared his vision of making the state “a modern, prosperous state” while staying deeply rooted in its indigenous traditions.
Sharing his vision for the state in 2023 through a series of tweets, the CM said that his government’s aim would be to increase tourism GSDP by being eco-friendly and carbon neutral.
Listing out his developmental plans during this year, the CM tweeted that his government would work towards bridging the “development gaps in border areas”.
The state would also aim at contributing up to 10 per cent to PM’s Glasgow commitment on non-fossil electricity.
Self-sufficient, prosperous farming rooted in tribal eco-friendly and organic traditions and sustainable harnessing of rich natural resources of the state would be the other focus areas of the Pema Khandu government.
The CM also reaffirmed his government’s resolve to continue with “collective, collaborative efforts toward building a resurgent, all-inclusive #ArunachalPradesh in 2023!”

Further, Chief Minister Khandu conveyed his heartfelt thanks to the citizens, community-based organizations, students, industry and trade associations, government employees, and other stakeholders for supporting the state in its development mission.

I thank ‘Team Arunachal’ for a highly fruitful journey but at the same time I strongly feel that there is no scope for any kind of complacency.

I’m confident that continued blessings from Hon PM and our dedication, hard work will help us further accelerate the pace of creating a new #ArunachalPradesh by scripting many more landmark accomplishments in 2023!” added, CM Khandu.
