APSC cash-for-job scam: SIT raid suspended ADCP’s house

The SIT probing the Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) cash-for-job scam raided the residence of suspended APS officer ADCP Sukanya Das on Tuesday morning.
The SIT conducted searches at the residence of Sukanya Das in Maligaon.
On December 4, suspended ADCP Sukanya Das was arrested by crime branch team.
As per inputs, Sukanya Das is also under the scanner in connection with the Ajit Bhuyan MP Fund Scam.
Sukanya Das’s residence in Guwahati’s Gandhi Basti was also raided today in connection with the disproportionate assets case.
A total of 14 persons are under the scanner for their alleged involvement in the Ajit Bhuyan MP Fund Scam, 4 of whom are gazetted officers.
Meanwhile the SIT team probing the Assam Public Service Commission cash-for-job scam has so far arrested more than 7 gazetted officers in connection with the investigation.
On Monday, the SIT had interrogated Dheeraj Jain, Dipankar Dutta Lahkar, Minarbha Devi and is also interrogating former APSC Principal Controller of Examinations Nandababu Singh.
