Actor Amitabh Bachchan has been hospitalised at the Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai. Multiple reports said that 81-year old Big B underwent an angioplasty after being shifted to the hospital this morning.

Bachchan reportedly posted on X, after his hospitalization and wrote, “T 4950 – in gratitude ever.”

A Business Today report said that this is the second surgical procedure Bachchan underwent this year. In January, he had surgery for a wrist injury, which he suffered while shooting the film “Kalki 2898 AD” in Hyderabad last year.

As per the report, the actor also strained his rib cartilage and sustained a torn muscle.
