CM Tamang loved the taste of the parathas, simplicity and warmth at Sotang Restaurant
Sikkim Chief Minister PS Tamang who was in Gyalshing district to meet the locals and attend a few meetings, decided to take a quick break and walked into an eatery run by a local resident named Damber Singh Rai.
Rai and his family who runs the modest Sotang Restaurant located in Middle Omchung, served the CM some aloo paratha and CM Tamang loved the parathas. Impressed by the authentic taste, the simplicity of the place and the warm hospitality of Rai and his family, CM Tamang immediately assured support for the grassroot entrepreneur Rai.

Recognizing the importance of maintaining hygiene and improving infrastructure, the Chief Minister assured his support in renovating the restaurant’s kitchen and bathroom facilities, aiming to enhance the overall experience for both the family and their customers.
Extending his best wishes, the Chief Minister expressed hope that the venture continues to grow and brings joy to everyone who visits.
