Vanlallawmzuala Varte, a cyclist from Aizawl, has etched his name in the India Book of Records by becoming the fastest person to visit all Indian states and Union Territories on a bicycle. Driven by a mission to raise awareness about air pollution and promote a sustainable lifestyle, Varte pedaled across India to spread his message of clean air and eco-friendly living. His initiative gained widespread media attention, inspiring countless people to adopt greener habits.

The cycling expedition not only highlighted the urgency of tackling air pollution but also showcased the resilience and determination of an individual on a quest for change. As the first person from Mizoram to be featured in the India Book of Records, Varte’s remarkable achievement has become a cause of pride for the state.
