Air Hostess from Manipur Was On Board the Ill-fated Air India Flight to London that Crashed in Ahmedabad

She spoke to her family today at 9 AM before boarding the flight. Her father is in a state of shock.
Twenty-one year old Nganthoi Sharma Kongbrailatpam from Thoubal in Manipur was on board the ill-fated Air India flight that crashed today at 1:38PM at the Sardar Ballabhbhai Patel International Airport.
Nganthoi has been working with Air India for two years. News about her status is yet to come in.
So far, reports have come in that of the 242 on board, bodies of 204 people have been recovered as rescue operation is still going on.
Northeast Live who was at her residence in Thoubal today afternoon spoke to her family. They said that she spoke to them today at 9 AM before boarding the flight. Her mother is inconsolable fearing the worst and her father has gone into shock, and is unable to speak.
Relatives and neighbours have gathered at her house hoping against hope to get some good news about her.
The Air India flight AI-171, a Boeing 787-8 Dreamline, crashed within minutes of taking off at 1:39 PM from Runway 23 of the Ahmedabad’s international airport. The flight was to land in London at 18:25 p.m. local time (1:25 p.m. ET). It had achieved a height of just 672 feet when Captain Sumeet Sabharwal, the pilot of the Boeing Air India plane, sent a Mayday call moments before the crash.
Sabharwal had 8,200 hours of flight experience. His co-pilot was First Officer Clive Kundar, who had 1,100 hours of flying experience.
The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) said that Sabharwal did not respond to any instructions from Air Traffic Control thereafter.
The DGCA said that the aircraft fell outside the airport and crashed near Meghaninagar.
The plane had 169 Indians, 53 British nationals, a Canadian, 7 Portuguese and 12 crew members on board. The passengers included 217 adults, 11 children and two infants.
