Ahmedabad Plane Crash: Thadou Students’ Association Expresses Deep Sorrow Over the Loss of Lives

TSA has assured all help to the families of the 2 air hostesses from Manipur who died in the crash

The Thadou Students’ Association (TSA) expresses deep sorrow over the tragic crash of Air India Flight AI171 from Ahmedabad to London Gatwick today which claimed the lives of many, including two young cabin crew from Manipur – Lamnunthem Singson of the Thadou community and Kongbrailatpam Nganthoi Sharma from the Meitei community.

Lamnunthem Singson, daughter of Late Lenminlun Singson, hailed from Old Lambulane, Imphal, and was residing at Kangpokpi as an internally displaced person (IDP). She had joined Air India as cabin crew in 2024, and her untimely death is a great loss to her family and the Thadou community, the TSA said.

TSA extended heartfelt condolences to both bereaved families and assured all necessary assistance to the families of Lamnunthem Singson and Kongbrailatpam Nganthoi Sharma’s during these difficult times.

TSA prayed for eternal peace of the departed souls.
