Adding another feather to the cap, noted actor Adil Hussain bagged the Best Actor Award at the Indo-German Film Week in Berlin for his character of Bucchi Paswan in the film ‘Pareeksha‘, on Wednesday night.
The news was shared by the actor himself in a tweet. Taking to Twitter he wrote “Thrilled to have received the Best Actor Award for the role of Buchchi Paswan in at the #IndoGermanFilmWeek in Berlin last night. Thank You for this recognition.”
Hussain, who originally hails from Goalpara district in Assam, has acted in a number of Bollywood and international cinema.
He received National Film Awards (Special Jury) at the 2017 National Film Awards for Hotel Salvation and Maj Rati Keteki.
Hussain made his debut in 1986 with the Assamese film Xongkolpo.
