Anant Ambani Stops His Padayatra to Save Trapped Hens: Anant Ambani seen holding a hen in front of a cage containing several trapped birds.
India’s richest man Mukesh Ambani’s son, Anant Ambani, who embarked on a sacred padayatra from Jamnagar to Dwarka ahead of his 30th birthday, paused his pilgrimage to rescue a flock of hens trapped inside a large cage.
The young Ambani has been walking 10-12 kilometers each night for the past five days under tight security, aiming to reach the Dwarkadhish temple in Dwarka and seek blessings before his birthday on April 10.
In a viral video, Anant Ambani can be seen holding a hen in front of a cage containing several trapped birds. Surrounded by security personnel, he instructs someone off-camera to ensure all the birds are rescued and kept safely as rescued animals. He also insists on compensating the owner to secure the birds without any trouble.
During his pilgrimage, Anant Ambani has been stopping at temples along the route to offer prayers and seek blessings. The total distance between Jamnagar and Dwarka is over 140 kilometers, and Ambani has covered more than 60 kilometers so far. Speaking to news agency ANI, he encouraged the youth to place their faith in Lord Dwarkadhish, saying, “I would like to tell the youth to have faith in Lord Dwarkadhish and remember Him before doing any work, as it will be completed without obstacles.”
Anant Ambani, the director of Reliance Industries Limited, is known for his deep love for animals. One of his significant initiatives, Vantara, is a large-scale animal rescue center located at the Reliance Jamnagar Refinery Complex. Inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Vantara has received the prestigious ‘Prani Mitra’ National Award, India’s highest honour in animal welfare, in the ‘Corporate’ category.
