9th edition of Miss Sikkim on February 2022, Auditions at Namchi & Gangtok

The 9th edition of Miss Sikkim will be held in the month of February 2022. This was informed by organisers Positude Sikkim during a press conference in the state capital Gangtok on Friday.

Managing Director of Positude Bijay Subba informed that, there will be two auditions – one in Gangtok on 12th December and the other at Namchi on 26th December. The contestants will be groomed by experts from Miss India organizers, unlike the previous years where the pageant brought in grooming experts from neighbouring regions and from within the state.

Anisha Chettri, Operation Head of Positude informed that the state government has started extending help for organizing Miss Sikkim Beauty Pageant since last year. She also added that, compared to other Northeastern states, public support for beauty pageants in Sikkim has been disheartening, and requested Sikkimese people to come forward and support the local talents.
