Dharmanagar Legislative Assembly constituency is one of the 60 Legislative Assembly constituencies of Tripura. It is part of North Tripura district.
In 2018, the constituency had a total of 41,526 electors. The total population in 2023 is estimated to be approximately 54,000.
In 2018, Biswabandhu Sen of the Bharatiya Janata Party won the seat by defeating Abhijit De of the Communist Party Of India (Marxist) with a margin of 7287 votes.
Before he moved to the BJP in 2018 Biswabandhu Sen had been a two-time Congress MLA from his seat Dharmanagar.
In this election, Biswabandhu Sen is contesting against Cong’s Chayan Bhattacharya from the Dharmanagar seat.
