Chandipur is an assembly constituency in Tripura. In 2018, CPIM Candidate Tapan Chakraborti won the seat by defeating BJP's Kaberi Singha
Chandipur Legislative Assembly constituency is one of the 60 Legislative Assembly constituencies and is the part of Unakoti district. In 2018, the constituency had a total of 42,974 electors. Chandipur population in 2023 is estimated to be 4,186 and the total number of households residing are 755.
The current MLA is Tapan Chakraborti of CPI-M. Although Tapan Chakraborti is four-time MLA of the Chandipur constituency, he will not be contesting in 2023.
In this election, all fresh faces will be contesting for the Chandipur Legislative Assembly.
