Bishalgarh is an assembly constituency in Tripura. In 2018, CPI(M) candidate Bhanulal Saha won the seat by defeating BJP's Nitai Chaudhuri
Bishalgarh is one of the 60 Legislative Assembly constituencies. It is in Sipahijala district and is a part of West Tripura Lok Sabha constituency. In 2018, the constituency had total 45,871 electors.
The current MLA is Bhanu Lal Saha of CPI-M.
In 2018, Bhanu Lal Saha won the seat by defeating Nitai Chaudhuri of BJP with a margin of 766 votes. Bhanu Lal Saha had been a three-time MLA from his seat Bishalgarh.
Bhanu Lal Saha is a member of 12th Tripura Legislative Assembly and was also a member of 5th, 10th and 11th Assembly and Former Finance Minister of Tripura.
Bhanu Lal Saha had not been nominated who won in the 2018 Assembly election.
