Tripura: Maharaja Bir Bikram (MBB) College Student Found Dead in His Rented House

The deceased youth has been identified as Bipul Jamatia, a resident of Killabari village in Killa, Gomati district
A final-year student at Maharaja Bir Bikram (MBB) College in Tripura was found dead in his rented room on Wednesday.
The incident has been reported from Shib Nagar area of Agartala.

He had been living in a rented accommodation owned by Tapan Kumar Pal for the past two years.
The incident came to light when the landlord visited the room to collect pending rent.
The owner of the house, Pal said, “I visited him to collect pending rent. Finding the door open, I entered and saw Bipul sitting on the ground with his head resting on the bed, motionless. Sensing something was wrong, I moved closer and found him unresponsive. I immediately informed the police.”
A police team, accompanied by forensic experts from the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL), arrived at the scene and initiated an investigation.
Sub-inspector Saikat Dey, who is leading the probe said that the exact cause of death is not known yet. The body was sent for autopsy to determine the cause of death and rule out any foul play.
