Amid the controversy surrounding the alleged anomalies in the conduct of Sikkim Services (Combined Recruitment) Prelim Examination 2022, the Sikkim Democratic Front (SDF) has levelled more sensational allegations.

Briefing newspersons, SDF student leader and Spokeperson Rikzing Norbu Bhutia alleged that initially there was a mistake in the answer sheet and the question paper.

According to Bhutia, things did not end here as mistakes were once again visible after the Sikkim Public Service Commission (SPSC) released a new answer sheet, but the options for the Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ)s were allegedly found to be wrong once again.

If that was not all, the SDF student leader further alleged that for question number 41, the name of President of India was written wrongly.

Meanwhile, the Sikkim Democratic Students Front demanded that re-examination must be done and the entire body of SPSC must be removed. Not only this, the SDF has also demanded that an enquiry must be done by a Judge of the Sikkim High Court, against the examiner expertise who had set the question papers.

Apart from this, the Sikkim Democratic Students Front also demanded that the expenditure of the examiners must be beared by the SPSC.

This comes a day after the Sikkim Public Service Commission said on Saturday said that it has taken seriously the allegations by certain candidates about alleged cheating and lapses in the conduct of the examination.

In a press statement, the Sikkim Public Service Commission said that it has “taken the matter seriously and is verifying the facts proactively.

The SPSC further added that “appropriate action will be taken accordingly.”

Not only this, the Sikkim Public Service Commission (SPSC) informed that “revised answer keys have been uploaded today by the Commission duly taking into account all the concerns of the candidates.”
