Sikkim: Manipal Institute of Technology Staff Found Dead in Hostel on Campus

The deceased has been identified as 57-year-old Hari Tamang, a resident of Siliguri, west Bengal
A staff of the Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology (SMIT) was found dead in the institute campus today.
The deceased has been identified as 57-year-old Hari Tamang, a resident of Siliguri, West Bengal. He had been working as a driver at SMIT since 1997.
As per inputs, he was found hanging from the ceiling fan of a room in Hostel No. 2 on the 5th floor of the campus.
No suicide note or anything suspicious was found near the body.
Rangpo Police have launched an investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
