The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted dense fog and heavy snowfall in higher altitudes of Sikkim, leading to travel disruptions.
The route from Tsomgo Lake to Nathula Pass and New Baba Mandir has been blocked due to accumulated snow, causing inconvenience for travellers and tourists.
However, the road from 3rd Mile to Tsomgo Lake remains open and accessible.
As snowfall may continue in the coming days, the authorities have advised travellers to check weather updates before planning their journey.
