The newly-formed Nagaland People’s Action Committee or NPAC has taken to the streets demanding an early settlement of the Naga Political Issue. The rally has been taken out in the Super Market area in Dimapur.
The NPAC has also written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi wherein it said that body will welcome a political solution and uphold it under any circumstances.
Further, the NPAC highlighted that although it has been 25 years since the political negotiations began, the unending talks had adversely affected the lives of the Nagas, and taken a huge toll on entire system of governance.
Additionally, the NPAC also claimed that the unresolved political issue has heralded in quote unquote unimaginable cycle of corruption at all levels, thereby crippling government departments to shambles.
The NPAC of the view that the economic well being of the every Naga family has completely collapsed in the absence of an equitable welfare formula.
