Dr Babar started his journey on Dec 18, covered 3200 kms as he passed through Assam, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh and ended his ride in Mumbai.

Nagaland has always been close to his heart. Dr Aniruddha Babar, Assistant Professor at Tetso College, Dimapur, recently undertook a solo bike ride from Dimapur, the commercial hub of Nagaland to Mumbai, the financial capital of India, to make people aware about the beautiful life, culture and traditions of Eastern Nagaland.

Dr Babar started his journey on December 18 and covered 3200 kms as he passed through Assam, West Bengal, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh and finally ended his solo motorcycle expedition in Mumbai on December 27.

“This is a tribute to the architects of ‘New Bharat’ hailing from Eastern Nagaland. It serves as a beacon, illuminating the stories of the invisible people—their struggles, dreams, aspirations, and their yearning to be an integral part of our great nation. Through this motorcycle expedition, we extend a heartfelt salute to the unsung heroes of Eastern Nagaland and strive to illuminate their narratives on the global stage,” Dr. Aniruddha Babar said talking about the expedition’s deeper purpose.

The expedition themed, “Connecting Worlds – For the People, For the Nation” was an endeavour of Project Constitutional Justice (PCJ) to weave the threads of India’s ethnic fabric from Nagaland to Maharashtra.
Dr. Babar also shared the letter Abhishek Tiwari, a social worker Barkachha Kalan village in Mirzapur District of Uttar Pradesh wrote for the people of Nagaland.

The letter, a beacon of unity, reads as follows:
My dear brothers and sisters of Eastern Nagaland. Heartfelt greetings to you.
I, Abhishek Tiwari, along with my fellow villagers from Village Barkachha Kalaan, Mirzapur, UP, extend lots of love to the people of Eastern Nagaland. As a social worker and proud citizen of India, we may be separated by language and geography, but our emotional connect, love, and goodwill for our brothers, sisters, and elders in Eastern Nagaland are as strong as those with residents of any other state.
The journey, marked by adversity and triumph, stands as an extraordinary testament to the resilience and determination of Project Constitutional Justice and its supporters.

Beyond the vast distances covered, this expedition symbolizes a giant leap towards fostering unity, understanding, and a shared vision for a stronger, more harmonious nation.
