Mizoram Chief Minister Zoramthanga, who is known for his simplicity, has once again won the hearts of the people. This time, the Chief Minister was spotted waiting inside Ebenezer Hospital in Aizawl for a health check-up.

The Chief Minister, just like any common man, was seen waiting patiently for his turn, disregarding the VIP protocol that Chief Ministers, Ministers and other VIPs are usually known to be used to.

Mizoram Minister Robert Romawia Royte, sharing pictures of the Chief Minister, wrote, “No VIP Culture!” Seen here Mizoram’s Chief Minister, Pu Zoramthanga, patiently waiting in a hospital queue along with other individuals. Today, the Chief Minister of Mizoram, Pu Zoramthanga, visited Ebenezer Hospital in Aizawl for a health check-up. He is scheduled to undergo an MRI, although his health is not a cause for concern. The Chief Minister was seated among other patients, patiently waiting for his turn, disregarding the VIP protocol that exists.”

This act of the Chief Minister was commended by the radiology department at Ebenezer Hospital.
“The Radiology Department at Ebenezer Hospital even commended the Chief Minister – Pu Zoramthanga on their instagram page for disregarding the VIP protocol and making his booking like any regular individual, ” Robert Romawia wrote.

The Minister further admired the humility of the Chief Minister.
“It is truly admirable to witness such humility from our Chief Minister,” Robert Romawia added.
