Rituraj Sinha reiterated that if voted to power, the BJP will form a special committee to investigate corruption charges on everyone, including the current and previous governments

National secretary of Bharatiya Janata Party and BJP Northeast Co-Convener Rituraj Sinha on Sunday made a scathing attack on TMC national general secretary Abhishek Banerjee stating that Banerjee must look within his own party before making allegations of corruption against the BJP.

Sinha stated that the people of Meghalaya have already decided not to vote for the TMC and this could be seen in Banerjee’s recent rallies. Sinha said that only over 500 people had gathered in these rallies which indicate that people are not willing to bring TMC to power.

Sinha also alleged that the Trinamool Congress has no interest in the people of Meghalaya and the issues and problems of the people of Meghalaya, adding TMC has no prospects in the state.

“Everybody knows TMC was not here in 2018 elections. They will pack up their bags and will leave Meghalaya after 2023 Assembly elections. TMC has no interest in the people of Meghalaya and the issues and problems of the people of Meghalaya. They are here purely for election tourism and will gather 6 percent votes, so that they can claim national party status. TMC has no prospects in the state” Sinha said.

Meanwhile, Sinha reiterated that if voted to power, the BJP will form a special committee to investigate corruption charges against everyone, including the current and previous governments, and all will be brought to books if found guilty, as assured by Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
