BSF Meghalaya nabs 3 Bangladeshis Including a Woman from International Border

In a meticulously planned operation on August 19, Border Security Force (BSF) personnel posted along the Meghalaya- Bangladesh border, foiled an infiltration in West Jaintia Hills district and nabbed three Bangladeshi nationals – two men and one woman, along with three Indian facilitators suspected of aiding the illegal crossing.
The apprehension comes amidst growing unrest and deteriorating law and order in Bangladesh, which has prompted BSF Meghalaya to intensify surveillance and border domination efforts. This increased vigilance aims to prevent illegal immigration and secure the international border in the wake of escalating tensions in the neighbouring country.
The apprehended illegal Bangladeshi migrants and their Indian accomplices, have been handed over to the concerned police station for further legal action.
