MPCC Holds ‘Jai Hind Yatra’ in Solidarity with Armed Forces, Lauds Govt’s Response to Terror

The Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) has extended its appreciation to the Central Government for its strong stance against terrorism and reaffirmed its commitment to national security.
As a gesture of solidarity with the Indian Armed Forces, the MPCC organised a peaceful ‘Jai Hind Yatra’ in Imphal.
The march, which began at the MPCC office, moved through key parts of the city and concluded at the Western Gate of Kangla Fort. A large number of participants took part, waving the Indian National Flag and chanting patriotic slogans.
Speaking to Northeast Live, MPCC President Keisham Meghachandra said the Yatra was part of a nationwide initiative led by the All India Congress Committee (AICC) to show unity and support for the armed forces.
The MPCC President said, “This war is against terrorism. The Congress Party is holding yatras across the nation, and we are doing the same in Imphal. The actions of the Indian Government are highly commendable.”
He also lauded the swift response of the Central Government and security forces following the recent Pahalgam terror incident, stating that the Congress Party stands firmly with the nation in its fight against terrorism and remains committed to safeguarding India’s integrity.
