Assam: Miya Museum & Jihadi Links; police probe begins

Big breakthrough for Assam Police. 'Nexus' between Miya Museum & Jihadis being probed after sensational details come to fore.
In a big development amid the ongoing Miya museum controversty in Assam, the police in Nalbari has detained Miya Parishad President Mohar Ali last night.
As per inputs, vice president of the Parishad, Abdul Baten who was detained in the Alamganj area in Dhubri, has also been brought to Nalbari.
And not just this, the Namrup police has also detained Tunu Dhadumiya who inaugurated the controversial museum, in Namrup and brought to Nalbari.
It may be mentioned that, Tanu Dhadumiya, is a member of the Aam Aadmi Party.
As per reports, Dhaduniya was appointed as the AAP convenor for Nalbari in January this year.
This big development comes in less than 24 hours after authorities sealed the building where the controversial museum was set up.

It is also learnt that Mohar Ali who was employed as a tutor in a school, was suspended from service last month. Whereas, Abdul Baten retired as a teacher from the BN College in Dhubri.
Meanwhile, the Assam Police suspects that both Miya Parishad President Mohar Ali and Abdul Baten, vice-president of Miya Parishad, have links with Jehadi outfit Ansarul Bangla Team, a subsidiary of Al-Qaeda in Indian Subcontient or AQIS.
This was informed by Special DGP Law and Order GP Singh.
On the other hand, in a sensational development, those arrested by Nalbari Police earlier for having links with radical groups, have confessed that the Miya Museum members were in contact with Jihadis.
Arrested jihadis Jubir Hussain, Abu Rayhan and Hader Ali were arrested only last week. Following this, an FIR was lodged against Mohar Ali and Abdul Baten.
