Mega eviction drive in Silsako lake enters day 3

The Guwahati Metropolitan Development Authority or GMDA is carrying out a massive eviction drive around the Silsako lake for the third day today.
The operation began on Monday with over 15 excavators and 3,000 armed personnel securing the site. The eviction drive is being carried out with a mission to make Guwahati flood-free and benefit at least 15 lakh residents of the city.
