Father mercilessly beaten by his son in Assam’s Baithalangso

Another lady from the neighborhood was also beaten to death with an iron rod when she came to the man's rescue

In a shocking incident, a man was mercilessly beaten up by his son at Rajagaon under Kasuwa Police Station in Assam’s Baithalangso.

Reportedly, the son and the daughter-in-law accused the father of stealing money from their guest.

When the father denied the son as well as the daughter-in-law started hitting the father.

Another lady from the neighbourhood, identified as Rohini Bodo was also beaten to death with an iron rod.

According to reports, the neighborhood lady was in a drunken state and unable to bear her babble the accused struck her with an iron rod.

Meanwhile, the accused, identified as Srimanta Basumatary, was nabbed by police after he tried to flee the scene after committing the heinous crime.
