In a massive win for security forces, notorious cybercrime mastermind Dhani alias Muksidul Islam has been arrested in Assam’s Morigaon.
The arrest was made in an operation led by Superintendent of Police Samiran Baishya of the Morigaon Police Crime Branch. Notably, Muksidul masterminded the OTP fraud collected through fake SIM cards.
The accused had extorted crores of rupees in fake loans through several online fraudulent financial apps. Even foreign nationals are said to have fallen prey to Muksidul’s scams.
