Assam Higher Secondary Examinations Results announced

The overall pass percentage in 88.64%
The results for the 2024 Assam Higher Secondary Examinations were announced today.
Assam Education Minister Ranoj Pegu informed that a total of 2,42,794 students successfully cleared their examinations in the Arts, Science and Commerce streams.
A total of 2,73,908 students had appeared for the examinations.
In the Arts stream, 201089 students had appeared for the examinations. Among them 177434 passed the examinations. The pass percentage in the Arts stream is 88.24%
In the Science stream, 54552 students appeared for the examinations while 49256 students have cleared the examinations. The pass percentage in 90.29%.
In the Commerce stream, the pass percentage is 88.28% as 15356 students cleared their examinations out of a total of 17395 candidates.
The overall pass percentage is 88.64%.
In the vocational stream, 748 students have passed the examination out of a total of 872 canddiates.
Education Minister Ranoj Pegu shared information in a post on X and appreciated Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) for announcing results on time.
In his post, Pegu mentioned, “Congratulations! 88.64% students have passed. Arts (88.24%) Sc (90.29%) Com (88.28%) Voc (85.78%). 273908 students had appeared the exam; 242794 students have passed.
In 2023, results were declared on 6 June. I appreciate AHSEC for the results on timetime.

Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma has also congratulated the successful candidates.
In a post on X, the Assam CM wrote, “Congratulations to all my young friends who have passed the Higher Secondary examination this year. Keep striving for excellence in the coming years.
For all those who couldn’t acheive the desired results, don’t be disheartened. Embrace determination, challenge your limits – you shall succeed❤️”
