Assam Government Employee Crushes Man Under His Vehicle, Drags Body for 300 Metres in Guwahati, Arrested

The accused person has been identified as Lal Hussain Ali.

A fourth-grade government employee and driver in Assam Government has been arrested in connection with the horrific hit-and-run incident that killed a man on the spot on October 3, 2024.

The accused person has been identified as Lal Hussain Ali.

The incident occurred, when Ali allegedly crushed Taibuddin Ahmed under his Bolero car and then dragged the body for nearly 300 meters near the Bharalumukh Sluice Gate in Guwahati.

Police have also seized the vehicle used in the crime.

Meanwhile, the victim’s wife has accused Ali of committing a pre-planned murder and claims that a woman was involved in the conspiracy.
