Assam: Gauhati University Employee Commits Suicide in University Campus

The deceased has been identified as Mainul Islam.
Tension gripped the Gauhati University campus after the suicide of a fourth-grade employee.
The deceased has been identified as Mainul Islam.
Islam was found dead in the verandah of the security officer’s office on the university campus today.
The reason behind the suicide is yet to be ascertained and no suicide note was found near the body or in the surrounding area.
Police have sent the body for a post-mortem examination and launched an investigation to probe the circumstances surrounding the tragic incident.
