Woman Arrested With WY tablets Worth Rs 4-5 Cr in Guwahati Railway Station

Police recovered 20,000 WY tablets from her possession
Continuing its war on drugs, the Assam police on Wednesday recovered WY tablets worth approximately Rs 4-5 crore and arrested a woman with the drugs in Guwahati.
Based on intelligence, Guwahati City Police intercepted the woman at Guwahati Railway Station. After checking her thoroughly, the police recovered 20,000 WY tablets from her possession.
“Acting on credible intelligence, @GhyCityPolice intercepted a suspect at Guwahati Railway Station and seized the following: – 20,000 WY tablets, valued at approximately ₹4-5 crore – One mobile handset – ₹1,000 in cash One individual has been arrested in connection with the case,” posted CM himanta Biswa Sarma.
