What’s really happening behind the closed doors of some parlours and salons in Kokrajhar, Assam? Are these beauty and wellness centres hiding more than what meets the eye? In a startling revelation, Kokrajhar Police have uncovered alleged illegal activities being run from within several such establishments, sparking serious concerns about what has been operating under the guise of glamour.

In a major crackdown this week, Kokrajhar Police conducted raids at multiple salons and parlours in the town, including Relex Unisex Parlour and Royal SPA Salon, which were reportedly operating without proper licenses and were under suspicion for engaging in unlawful practices.

The raids were conducted under the supervision of Additional Superintendent of Kokrajhar Police, Nabanita Sharma.

During the raid, several premises were sealed, and over 10 individuals, including 3 men, were taken into custody for questioning.

Police have not disclosed the exact nature of the alleged activities but investigations are ongoing.

Police said that strict action will continue against such illegal operations in the district to ensure law and order and maintain public safety.
