Assam: Youth stabs 60-year-old woman to death, attempts to kill her grandchildren too in Dudhnoi

The deceased woman has been identified as Phuleshwari Barman and the accused has been identified as Nipjyoti Rabha.
In a shocking and shameful incident driven by an illicit relationship, a youth brutally stabbed a 60-year-old woman to death in Dudhnoi in Assam’s Goalpara district.
The accused did not stop there, he also attempted to strangle the elderly woman’s two grandsons.
The deceased woman has been identified as Phuleshwari Barman and the accused has been identified as Nipjyoti Rabha.
As per inputs, the motive behind this bloodshed is linked to Nipjyoti Rabha’s illicit affair with the deceased’s daughter-in-law.
While the accused is currently on the run, police have launched an intense manhunt to nab him.
The daughter-in-law of the deceased has been detained for interrogation as part of the investigation into this heinous crime.
