Two separate shocking incidents of alleged teachers’ brutality on students have come to the fore in Assam on Saturday that have left the people of the state in utter shock.
In the first incident, a student of Class Nine in a school in Barama fractured his hand recently when he was allegedly pushed out of a classroom by a teacher while he was playing with his classmates.
The accused teacher has been identified as Ajit Rajbongshi.
Speaking to the media, the victim student’s father alleged that the school authorities neither initiated action against the accused teacher nor did they take any steps to provide first aid to his injured son.
He also threatened to take legal action against the school authorities and the accused teacher.
In another incident, the eardrums of a student at Delhi Public School in Duliajan were reportedly ruptured after he was slapped hard by a teacher. Though the incident reportedly took place on June 25, it has come to the public eye today.
The victim’s parents have alleged that the school authority tried their best to suppress the incident and claimed that the student’s eardrums were not damaged, and the school authorities supported Duliajan OIL Hospital reports.
Speaking to the media, the victim student’s parents informed that they carried out a second check-up of the student’s ears in Dibrugarh, which confirmed the rupture of the eardrums.
