In another big update, CM Khandu informed that the Sela tunnel is almost complete and can be inaugurated anytime after February 20
With Assembly elections fast approaching, Chief Minister Pema Khandu has appealed the people to say no to money-culture and clan-based politics. Khandu urged people to vote only on the basis of performance.
Speaking to media, Khandu said, “In the history of Arunachal Pradesh’s politics, only BJP has spoken out openly against the influence of money power in elections. I have appealed to the religious leaders to speak out against money culture during religious gatherings. There is a need to educate the people about this menace.Money culture and clan politics is not healthy for a democracy.”
He added that neutral agencies and educated people should come forward to guide their tribe.
Khandu also exuded confidence of a BJP grand show in the state.
“Bharatiya Janata Party is a party with a difference. The aim of the party is to serve the people. We don’t go into election mode just because elections are around the corner and the aim to serve the people will always be the motto of the BJP. We are confident that the people will vote us into power for the second time because of the work we have done,” he said.
