“Aangan Mein Prashaashan”: Sikkim CM interacts with public at Mabong

During the course, different issues pertaining to diverse aspects were raised with the Chief Minister.

Holistic growth and development is what every citizen aspires for, and to ensure this Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang has taken it upon himself to take governance to the doorsteps.

As part of the SKM government’s “Aangan Mein Prashaashan” (Government At Doorstep), Chief Minister Tamang interacted with the residents of Mabong in Soreng district and gave patient hearing to their issues.

During the course, different issues pertaining to diverse aspects were raised with the Chief Minister.
The Sikkim Chief Minister took to social media and shared his thoughts on the occasion.

In a Facebook post he wrote, “Interacting with the people of Mabong in West Sikkim was a fulfilling experience. Addressing concerns and providing immediate assistance allowed me to foster assurance and connectivity. I handed over cheques and job orders at the outset, ensuring the residents of Mabong of sustained state government support.”

Reiterating the government’s commitment for ensuring welfare in every nook and corner of Sikkim, CM Tamang stated, “The state government’s commitment to the well-being of the people of Sikkim is unwavering, making this interaction a part of an ongoing narrative of positive change and community development.”

“Due to time constraints, reaching every resident was not feasible. However, a follow-up session will be organized in the constituency nearby within a fortnight, ensuring comprehensive interaction with every household,” the Sikkim CM added.

Since the launch of “Aangan Mein Prashaashan” CM Tamang has held more than 20 such events where he directly spoke to people for knowing about their issues and took steps to immediately resolve them.
