NEIPF condemns horrific act of sexual assault on two women in Manipur

The North East Indigenous People's Forum has condemned the horrific act of disrobing, parading nude and gang raping one of the two women in Manipur.
While expressing grief over the human tragedies in the state, the NEIPF has asked the Central as well as the state Governments, the National Commission for Women, National Commission for Scheduled Tribes to take cognisance of the offences and take all necessary measures to bring justice and punish the guilty by prosecuting them in a fast track court.
