Hope Amidst Adversity: 3 babies born at Army-Assam Rifles’ relief camps in strife-torn Manipur

In the midst of the ongoing turmoil in Manipur, the Indian Army and Assam Rifles have been tirelessly engaged in rescue operations, ensuring the safe evacuation of the last stranded individuals from remote areas of the affected districts.

During these challenging times, heart-warming moments unfolded as three babies were born in a relief camp set up by the Army and Assam Rifles, symbolizing a beacon of hope amidst adversity.

In one of the recent births that took place, Esther Hontah, a 38-year-old woman seeking refuge at the Assam Rifles Mantripukhri camp in Imphal, gave birth to a healthy baby.

Spear Corps (a division of Indian Army) on Sunday took to Twitter to share the happy news, of the two new born babies, “While the world saw violence, we saw a ray of hope. #IndianArmy & #AssamRifles efforts to restore normalcy continues.. #IndianArmy wishes 𝙂𝙤𝙙 𝙎𝙥𝙚𝙚𝙙 & 𝙂𝙤𝙤𝙙 𝙇𝙪𝙘𝙠 to the two Babies who were born in our garrison after their proud mothers were safely rescued
