Sikkim’s Sheril Lepcha to join Gujarat Titans as assistant physiotherapist

Sikkim women’s cricket team physiotherapist Sheril Lepcha is all set to join Gujarat Titans as an assistant physiotherapist.

Lepcha will be a part of the upcoming Women’s Premiere League (WPL), which is a Twenty20 cricket franchise league in India. It is owned and operated by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).

The first season will be played in March 2023 in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai with five franchises taking part.

Sheryl is one of the most experienced sports physiotherapists in the North East and has been associated with the Sikkim women’s team since 2018.

Sheryl holds a master’s degree in physiotherapy with a specialization in Orthopedic Sports Rehabilitation from Sikkim Manipal Institute of Medical Science.
