Assam’s Top Cops conferred Prestigious Police Medals on R-Day

Excellent Service Medal to 14 officers of Assam Police on the eve of Republic Day
Guwahati Police Commissioner Diganta Barah, Superintendent of Police Mujibur Rahman, and Chief Minister’s Supervision Branch Superintendent Rosie Kalita have been presented with the Outstanding Service Medal. President’s Special Service Medal has been presented to DIG Konkanjyoti Saikia of South Range, Silchar, Assam for Distinguish Service.
14 Assam Police officers have been selected for the Excellent Service Medal.
Inspector Anukta Malakar, Constable Shikari Ingti, Constable Dilip Kalita, Lance Naik Mujibur Rahman, Hero Manik Banik, Constable Homeshwar Mudai, Constable Sunil Phukan, Constable Junmani Tamuli, Lance Naik Anand Ronghang, Sub Inspector Ritumani Bairagi, and Constable Subhash Rabha have been awarded the Outstanding Service Medal.
Late Avatar Chakma, Rifleman, PMG (Posthumously), and Assam Rifles has been presented with Police Medal for Gallantry (PMG).
