Cannabis worth Rs 2 Crore seized in Guwahati

In a major victory in the war against drugs, police seized cannabis worth Rs 2 crore from a truck in the Khanapara area.
More than 320 kilograms of cannabis were being smuggled in a secret compartment in the vehicle. The truck which bears a Nagaland number plate was detained at the Gitanagar police station where further checking was conducted. The raid was led by join police commissioner Partha Sarathi Mahanta.
