SIC arrests two more in APPSC paper leak scam, total 34 arrested so far

The Special Investigation Cell (SIC) of Arunachal Pradesh Police on Monday arrested two more government officials for their alleged involvement in the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) paper leak case. One of the arrested is a government official.
The arrested persons have been identified as 28-year-old Sige Gamlin, Assistant Engineer of the Public Works Department, West Siang and 62-year-old Onam Pertin of Roing, Arunachal Pradesh.
With these two arrests the total number of arrests has gone up to 34.
Late last week, on December 8 one more government official was arrested.
It may be mentioned that the AE (civil) question paper leak case has been handed over to the CBI. The SIC is investigating all the other cases based on several FIRs filed by the aggrieved aspirants. The SIC is investigating cases since 2014 related to the paper leak case.
