Bomdila Police Station crackdowns on the free flow of illegal drugs in the state

Continuing the crackdown on the free flow of illegal drugs in the state, a team from Bomdila police station led by officer-in-charge, Inspector Krishnendu arrested at least seven drug peddlers, including a woman, on Saturday and recovered 15 grams of suspected Herion and 15 grams of processed cannabis from their possession.
The arrests were made following a request for police intervention by the parents of an addicted minor.

According to the officer in charge, the parents of a minor addicted to drugs sought the police’s help to rid their son of his drug addiction.
Accordingly, the officer in-charge, along with his team, took the lead in arresting a chain of seven peddlers, including a woman. The officer further informed that a case under the NDPS Act and the Juvenile Justice Act had been registered against the accused.
