A hefty charge was recently imposed on a tourist for bringing food onto a flight from Bali to Australia; the traveler’s basic meal of a burger and a wrap at McDonald’s cost him Rs 2 lakh.

Every time someone enters the nation, they are informed of the cost of certain items. Additionally, a form detailing items that can raise biosecurity issues is given to every tourist. As a result, the traveller who arrived in Australia with a McDonald’s lunch was unaware that his decision to eat fast food would put him in peril.

The airport’s biosecurity detector dog, Zinta, immediately began sniffing the traveler’s bags when he arrived in Australia from Bali.

Two Egg and Sausage McMuffins and a Ham Croissant were found in the tourist’s luggage because of a dog’s sniffer.

It started, according to a News Corp story, when the guy neglected to tell airport officials about his McDonald’s lunches and gave them “fake and deceptive documentation.” As a result, the man was fined $2,664 for his simple breakfast.
