The BJP in Meghalaya got a shot in the arm to day with former West Garo Hills MLA Edmund K Sangma joining the party.

Sangma joined the BJP in the presence of state unit President Ernest Mawrie and other senior leaders at the BJP office in Shillong today.

Expressing elation, state BJP President Ernest Mawrie while addressing reporters after the joining ceremony said that the joining of Edmund K Sangma will make the party stronger and will also increase its outreach.
